Circumstances: The East Lansing Police Department is investigating an incident of an endangered missing child by the name of Amaya Marie Pernell. Amaya is a 3 year old black female, with a height of 3 feet and weighing 30 lbs. She has brown eyes, black hair and was last seen wearing multi-colored striped pants and a long sleeve white shirt. The child was allegedly abducted by Lester Devon Pernell, a 28 year-old male. He is 6’6″, 220 lbs., with brown eyes, black hair, and last seen wearing blue jeans and a long dark dress coat. The suspect’s vehicle is a gold Mercury Cougar with a Michigan license plate of CFA0330 with a dent in the driver’s side door.
